Frankly, I Would Be More Interested in a Descendant of Joyce DeWitt

Vows So, if you make it into The New York Times’ Vows (with an impressive eight months between meeting and marrying) and you’re the rare breed lacking an Ivy League education or philanthropist parents (the bride’s mom is an accountant, her father a bricklayer), you must mention tenuous ties to the founders of our nation.

“The bride is a descendant of Samuel Fuller, a founder of Plymouth Colony” and “The bridegroom is a descendant of James Madison, the fourth president of the United States.”

Oh, and have a kooky nickname. Groom Peyton Brodnax DeWitt Rodgers goes by Buck.

I think they could’ve just stuck with including Will Ferrell in their photo and left it at that.
