Mr. Robot has proven more emotionally effective than I would’ve expected from a show with robot in its name. The last episode (sadly, tonight’s finale is not airing until next week) had Christian Slater (a still quite attractive 46, which makes me realize I’m now middle aged because I’m able to see men in their mid-40s as good-looking when I wouldn’t have a few years ago) playing a 45-year-old computer store owner in 1994 New Jersey.
