Librarians: Doubly Hip

W562Huh, I don't regularly read the New York Sun so their Williamsburg/Greenpoint specific take on hip librarians (that pre-dated the current #1 most emailed Times piece by three days) just made its way to me today. "For New-Look Librarians, Head to Brooklyn" only succeeds in baffling me even more. At least it didn't make the obligatory Parker Posey, Party Girl reference.

Speaking of things you live/love becoming cool, I’m not completely understanding the Worishofer craze
(in certain circles, mind you—I might be living in some warped NYC
bubble). I’ve always been a fan of orthopedic chic and am wearing a
pair of #562 this very second (#140 are the fashionista fave). At least
it’s a trend I can embrace. Years of lowrises have traumatized me and
the babydoll/trapeze thing is frighteningly unflattering unless you’re spindly limbed, gutless and flat chested. Yay, for old lady comfort.
