I’ve been sick to my stomach from a recent dry spell of anguished vomiting in the media. Have fictional character gotten their emotions in check? Sunday night, Dexter was kind of enough to graphically demonstrate this phenomena via a flashback of the title character's father reacting to a carved up body. Nice.
I do find Dexter’s younger flashback style to be strange, as it seems kind of shaggy ‘70s. I assume the character is mid-late 30s like Michael C. Hall, which would make him teenage in the ‘80s. But then, just because my high school was filled with mullets and moustaches doesn’t necessarily mean that was the look in Miami.
