Cats are good. I’m already well on my way to being a crazy cat lady (though not to the point where I’m documentary material). But cat clothing can be tricky. And if three’s a trend, then feline fashion is decidedly in.
I don’t know who Jo Whiley is because I don’t follow Harry Potter, but I love
the green version of this Siamesey dress, which I’ve learned is from Paul & Joe (oh, and that she’s not affiliated with Harry Potter but a DJ with a shitload of children who happened to wear this to the movie’s premiere) Unfortunately, I don’t have the spare £350 for such novelties and even if I did it they don’t make my size. Don’t think they’re saving me from myself, I’d wear that shit.
Diane von Furstenberg has a series of tiger patterned dresses. Not crazy about
this one, but I’m kind of fond of the one pictured.
It’s slightly less expensive than the Paul & Joe number and she’s one of the few designers who makes anything larger than a 10. I would totally buy this if it were on sale.
Certain circles were excited that Beth Ditto (Portlander, I might add, who I can’t for the life of me figure out why she has hit it so big in the UK—are The Gossip that well-known in the US?) was creating
a line clothes for Evans, a British chain. I’m not a fan of the ‘80s aesthetic for skinny gals and I’m equally unenthused for the plump. I’m honestly not sure anyone could rock this cat tee.
