Box Office Bust

Ack. Dear John was playing in Bangkok and I would've paid Thai Baht to see the damn thing if I'd had another day or two to waste (I did see Avatar in Penang. I liked it about as much as I thought I would. The only saving grace was seeing cups of corn and mashed potatoes [not together] sold at the concession stand). I figured I could see it when I got back to NYC, but it's already gone from nearly every theater. Oh Henry, I might just have to go to that outlet mall theater with panhandlers in Elizabeth, NJ where I saw Terminator Salvation months after it had fizzled out everywhere else in the region.
