I forgot to mention that Dear John was playing on the flight back from Puerto Rico to NYC (actually, it was one among a few choices—the flight there only had one movie: Whip It). Unfortunately, I didn't want to spend $2 for a headset (not to sound all jetsetty but I fly more internationally than domestically and forgot about having to pay for headsets, food, etc. I was steamed that I forgot my emergency granola bar I always pack) so I only gleaned what I could from the little silent screen embedded in the chair in front of me. Yes, Amanda Seyfried marries Henry Thomas. Time passes (I didn't pay attention to the middle) because he had a small autistic son at the beginning, then an older autistic son at the end. That is all I know. I will wait for its appearance on cable.
