Burger Wisdom

Love chains but rarely eat fast food. Bizarre that it's 50 cents less for a combo than a burger & small fries. Filled cup with ice water.

This is the sort of enlightening thing I would've just posted to Twitter. I also may have taken a photo of Burger King's fat fries (new to me) and Instagrammed my dismay. I just wanted a cheeseburger, which is nonexistent in my neighborhood, and wasn't up for walking 25 blocks or taking a subway to eat alone on a Friday night. I know people disparage fast food and I think they exaggerate, but this wasn't so great. Fat fries aside (next time I get an urge I'll go to the McDonald's on the same block for skinnier fries) everything was lukewarm-to-cold and well, duh, the meat is not exactly the centerpiece even with that charbroiled flavor. I guess that's why people order double Whoppers–or avoid fast food altogether.
