I was going to post this last week after bingeing on Making a Murderer and finding myself strangely attracted to Steven Avery’s attorney Dean Strang, and wondered if it was the small town lawyer genre generally (and I know these are Wisconsin big guns) then felt embarrassed, which…what? It was only after being validated by an article in The Guardian that I could come clean. Pretty sure it’s just Dean Strang. Ok, maybe a little Jerome Buting too. (Threesome?)
This is something good to recognize and learn so early in the new year. It may seem that I like whatever and say whatever but I second guess everything when instinct used to suffice and I’ve actually become paralyzed over having the wrong opinions as I’ve gotten older to the point where I barely attempt writing professionally anymore in a non-work capacity. Too much honesty, you guys.
