The Swing Set

Ok, fuck the whole Brooklyn artisanal “movement.” I know where I can find fancy chocolate, pickles and cured meats in the borough. What I really want to know where on earth this swingers club is because it sounds like it’s very close to my apartment. I’m not crazy about baked ziti nor watching municipal workers humping but the combination almost makes two negatives a positive.

  1. lisa: I forgot to re-update that I’d found this place (online not in person). It turns out it’s not near my apt., after all but only a few blocks away from my former dwelling. My favorite part of their website is the bizarrely strict dress code:

“A collared shirt and dress slacks are the recommended attire for gentlemen. Sneakers, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, jeans or other casual attire are not permitted. Exceptions are a dress shirt without a collar, a dress sweater accompanied with slacks or a sports coat. Jeans are acceptable for ladies.”

What’s a dress sweater compared to a regular sweater, anyway?

  2. Found it online, huh 😉 ?

I’m often fashion-challenged, so I don’t know the difference… maybe a ‘dress sweater’ has a pattern on it, or is a particular material?

I love in the picture of Fantasyland how they’ve scrunched up one of the curtains and poked it through the glory hole in the next booth… to show perspective, I guess…
