An unamed actress is suing Amazon for publishing her real age on her IMDB profile. This has been hurtful for many reasons.
"The actress also says the publication of her age has harmed her career in two ways. 'First, because lesser-known forty-year-old actresses are not in demand in the entertainment business, plaintiff has suffered a substantial decrease in acting credits, employment opportunities and earnings,' she argues. 'Second, because plaintiff looks so much younger than her actual age indicates, plaintiff has experienced rejection in the industry for each 'forty-year-old' role for which she has interviewed because she does not and cannot physically portray the role of a forty-year-old woman.'"
Ha, cannot physically portray a forty-year-old. Goodness, who is this woman?! Estella Warren can be eliminated from possible candidates.
UPDATE: Ok, I have nothing better to do (actually I truly do, but I've had a headache since Friday and it's making it hard to write anything or read anything with lots of words. Instead, I've been absorbing the internet, which uses less brain power) so I looked at Asian women age 40 with ties to Texas (all characteristics from the original source) on IMDB and one candidate stands out: an actress named Emy Coligado who had a recurring role on Malcom in the Middle and Crossing Jordan. Junie Hoang is also a possibility, but doesn't appear to have a Texas address associated with her name. Too bad because she played a nurse in one of my favorite shows, I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. I've also seen speculation that it's Nicole Bilderback, which is possible, but I was under the impression that her true age was listed, hence the lawsuit, and 1975 is given for her.
